An early 18th century hand colored engraving of a scene of the city of Venice, Italy entitled "Palazzo Lin, a. S. Samuele sopra il Canal Grande". It depicts Venetian architecture, water commerce with gondolas and a sailboat. The engraving was published in "Thesaurus antiquitatum et historiarum Italiane" by Pieter van Der Aa (1659-1733) in Leiden. The book was originally written in the 17th century by Georgius Graevius and completed after his death by Pieter Burmann.
